What are Escape Rooms?

Breakout Escape Rooms are one of the prime destinations where fun never ends. A general concept of an escape room is that you and your team are trapped in a room filled with clues and puzzles to solve by being immersed in characters and escape in time based on a movie styled experience. They offer various kinds of services like birthday parties, surprise parties, corporate events and team building activities etc.

 

What is an escape room?

Escape rooms are based on different games and story lines that are theme-based where characters are inspired from movies, storybooks, novels and fictions like superhero, detectives, police officers and agents etc. The general design of the rooms is based on the above set themes with rich game aesthetics and architecture where each set of the room is acquired with cool props like tables, photos, benches and machines and different kinds of puzzles such as code based, Morse code, magnet based, drawing and connecting based puzzles, locks and keys etc.

The first escape room game was developed by a video game in 2004 and later into a live escape room in 2007 by SCRAP in Japan. Escape room games are inspired from mobile games where click and play technique is used. Escape room games were played in single and multiplayer characters. Later on, they were enhanced by owners and designers where players can actually play in a real time environment living the same experience and it gained tremendous momentum across different cities and countries with varying themes.
